Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired!

If you aren’t feeling up to par, there’s probably a good reason for it. You body is trying to tell you something is wrong and you need to do something about it! What a marvelous machine our body is. It knows when it isn’t working right, that one or more of those machine components are functioning at less than 100%. For some of us, that just means that we need to slow down, rest more often, and eat better. For many, many others, it means that we have a short circuit somewhere within our system which is going to take more than just a couple hours of deep sleep to fix.

It has been shown … and proven … that bodily discomfort is not a problem in itself. Discomfort is a symptom of another problem that is causing or has caused the body to signal you through discomfort or pain. For example, if you have been out chopping wood every day for the past week and your body is sore, the soreness is the symptom that your muscles are complaining that they have been doing more than they are used to doing. In this case, if you stop chopping wood for awhile and rest, the pain will go away over a few days.

However, for many, if not most of us, it just isn’t that simple. Doctor’s offices and hospitals are full of people seeking a cure and, in most cases, getting a temporary relief to a symptom. If you go in with pain, even if the Doc tries to determine the source of the pain, in most instances, he ends up treating the pain with the hope it won’t continue or reoccur. If you have stomach or bowel problems, he’ll most likely give you medicine which will, temporarily, allow your digestive system to function better – but his treatment won’t get to the root of the problem which is most likely a conflict between your diet and your body’s ability to adjust to it.

Look, we’re not saying that your Doc is wrong in treating the symptoms – when that’s all he as to work with. Even if he is able to determine that your pain, discomfort, or tired muscle complaints may be caused by a “back problem”, the traditional approach is to send you to a neurologist or, even worse, a neurosurgeon. Traditional medicine often follows the path of medicate to operate. Before you get sent down that path, please let us remind you that many, if not most, of the discomfort situations that you experience are repairable without surgical intervention – without a lifetime of pain pills or muscle relaxants. Before you agree to be cut open, please check with us for a simple evaluation. Bring your medical records and Xrays with you, if your MD will release them to you. Let us check you out and, if we truly believe that Chiropractic Medicine can help you avoid a lifetime of pain and/or unnecessary surgery, we will tell you. IF we find that you have no option but to agree with your MD’s treatment regimen, we’ll tell you. Honestly, we are all about your total health and well being, not about selling you on Chiropractic if you don’t need it. We want you to be well and happy and free of pain. And we’re waiting to hear from you!
